Transmission Components

These coatings increase the fatigue endurance limit of gears and Hertzian stresses are reduced due to lower friction forces. Lower friction forces also translate into lower losses of transmitted power. Typical automotive applications include bevel gears and pinions; sun gears; gears used in limited-slip differentials etc.
